Random Pokémon Generator FAQ

Does the generator include every Pokémon?

Yes. The default pool contains all 1,025 base species through Generation 9. Alternate forms are available as an optional filter so the default results do not repeat the same species in several forms.

Can I generate a complete random team?

Yes. Select “Full team of 6,” set any filters you want, and roll. You can open that exact result in Pokémon Team Builder.

Are legendary Pokémon included?

They are off by default to make ordinary challenge teams more common. Turn on “Legendary & mythical” to add them to the eligible pool.
